Overview

To get started, install the Blink GitHub App in your personal account or in any organizations you manage. Installing a GitHub App requires organization owner rights. For a deeper dive into how Blink uses GitHub, read more about the GitHub integration.

Navigate to Linked Accounts

Hover over your profile avatar and click User Settings in the dropdown menu. Navigate to Linked Accounts at the top of User Settings page.

Link your account

For the GitHub App, click Link. You will be redirected to GitHub to authorize Blink.Link GitHub account

Check Blink's access

After authorizing Blink, you will be redirected back to Blink. You should now see an Unlink option next to GitHub in Linked Accounts.Send Blink the following prompt to verify GitHub access:
Hey Blink! Show me the GitHub accounts, organizations, and repos I just gave you access to and give me a summary of each.
Remember, installing the Blink GitHub App for your company’s GitHub organization requires owner priviledges. If you don’t have these rights, a request will automatically be sent to your org owner.
