Overview

Optionally, you can link your Slack and Blink accounts for a seamless experience between your Slack workspace and Blink’s web UI. Chatting with Blink in Slack requires the Blink app to be installed in your company’s Slack workspace. For more information about how Blink integrates with Slack, read more about the Slack integration.

Navigate to Linked Accounts

Hover over your profile avatar and click User Settings in the dropdown menu. Navigate to Linked Accounts at the top of User Settings page.

Link your account

For the Slack App, click Link. You will be redirected to Slack to authorize Blink. If your workspace requires admin approval to install apps, you may need to request access from your Slack admin.
If you’re a Blink and Slack admin, follow the steps in the Slack admin guide to install and configure the Blink app for your workspace.

Invite Blink to channels

After authorizing Blink, you will be redirected back to Blink. You should now see an Unlink option next to Slack in Linked Accounts.Invite Blink to your team channels (e.g., #code-review, #engineering) by typing /invite @Blink in the channel.Verify Blink’s access by sending a welcom prompt in the channel:
Hey @Blink! Welcome to the channel. Tell us about yourself!
Remember to always tag @Blink in new messages and in threads when you expect Blink to respond
